Celebrate open air painting in Montrose, Colorado! Discover your favorite art destination with jaw-dropping views of the San Juan Mountains, waters that send whispers to your painting from the Uncompahgre River, and tipi dotted grounds of the Ute Museum where you will begin your Plein Air adventure. Choose your painting location all the way from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison to Ouray, the little Switzerland of America.

Entry fees are due by July 1, 2018 and are non-refundable (excluding emergency).  

By submitting this form, I agree that MCA will retain 40% of the sale price of individual plein air art sales generated during this event.  For the quick draw MCA will retain 30%.  I may wish to donate 100% of the sale price of one of my plein air paintings, to be specified at delivery. If unsold, painting will be returned to artist.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Reception, Cash Awards, Exhibit  

Maximum two entries may be submitted, no larger than 24”x24”. Must be framed, ready for display.

Artist is requested to provide own easel(s) for exhibit. It is suggested that you bring all painting and

framing supplies you need.
